FUNCTION
The Executive Committee shall recommend to the Workforce Investment Board priorities, goals, objective, projects and strategies to address the long term strategic workforce development needs of the community. The Executive Committee can delegate subject to ratification by the Workforce Investment Board, such responsibilities as are annually approved by the Workforce Investment Board to standing and special committees. Further, the Executive Committee is empowered to act on behalf of the full Workforce Investment Board as needed subject to the ratification of such actions at the next regularly scheduled Workforce Investment Board meeting.
