   Lehigh Valley's Future Workforce

The Lehigh Valley Workforce Investment Board, Inc. (LVWIB) is soliciting proposals to serve eligible youth under the Workforce Investment Act.  The LVWIB provides coordination and ovesight of funds for employment and training services to economically disadvantaged youth with barriers to employment in Lehigh and Northampton Counties.

The Lehigh Valley Workforce Investment Board, Inc. (LVWIB) is requesting proposals to plan, coordinate, and implement programs designed to support participants in the Pathways to Green Jobs program funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

Eligibility Statement Participants must be Allentown City residents and 18 years of age or older. The program participant targeted populations include high school dropouts, youth transitioned out of foster care; economically disadvantaged youth; underemployed, dislocated and/or unemployed veterans and eligible spouses; and underemployed, dislocated and unemployed young adults.
